Student Conduct Expectations

At Blackshear Elementary our priority is to educate the full child. In partnership with parents/guardians we know we will have a successful year meeting all the needs of our lion cubs! It is our expectation that our scholars show up to school daily prepared for a day packed with learning and continued growth. 

Teachers will provide daily conduct updates using take home folders. ParentSquare will also serve as a two-way communication method for updates as needed. It is our expectation that all parents/guardians be attentive and responsive to communications from our staff and also seek out feedback about your child should you not receive notices, and you have concern.

As it relates to student behaviors, we will enforce the HISD Code of Student Conduct to assign consequences for outlined behaviors. Students who are disruptive to the educational process will be subject to disciplinary action in accordance with that code of conduct.
